Email Configuration

Hi,
Dears.
I have New 4 Gateway and each gateway have 2 sensors(temp and Humidity)
I configured the network for all gateways
now I need some clarity about this that 1.should I need management software for these gateways
2.should I need to register these devices to survercheck.com
also for an email alert, I configured my Gmail and I remove the authentication
then I get like
host chek ok
SMTP server check Ok
authentication ok
sending message Failed
So what is the best way to configure an email alert
and is it possible to configure via Microsoft Exchange Server

I think the current firmware V8 Doesn't support Gmail yet, as I currently use their free email service for alerts.
If you wanted to use Gmail, you can download their beta firmware which I saw on a post here on this link

you can use their free mail server
