Multiple instances of sensorsoft_check.ex

On our monitoring server we have 30+ instances of sensorsoft_check.exe running, is this normal?





Should have added, we have around 500 rules defined.

Run the upgrade.exe to the latest release 5.8.2 build 3 and this should solve the multiple instances (this happens when the sensor does not respond in a timely fashion)

Is there any way to download the update manually? The machine does not have access to the internet (very protected/restricted environment here)

Yes. Download the version from our website and then do as follows:

1/ Backup all *.lic and *.conf files

2/ Backup your /data subdirectory

3/ Backup the serverscheck_databases directory

4/ Uninstall ServersCheck

5/ Reboot

6/ Install ServersCheck

7/ Restore the files

8/ Reboot

9/ Start ServersCheck
