Creating DB

Is it normal to see the database creation notice many times in the monitor manager? Does it do this every time it goes back to the first check perhaps?

This is because the s-graphs.exe is not running. Are you running it in Interactive Mode? If so then double click on the s-graphs.exe to start it.

Got it.. I am running interactive mode.

I stated the s-graphs.exe and rrdtool.exe took off... there were 291 processes listed in the process manager... 291 of rrdtool.exe... is this normal?

Yes it is normal. There are probably many jobs that were in the queue (graphsqueue subdirectory). It will process all them and then it will drop.



You can influence the refresh rate = the time when the processes are launched again by setting the values in the Configuration Settings.
