Automation error

Can anyone tell me what this is:

Error : [-2147217405] Automation error

I'm getting it with a view counters. I'm using the enterprise MX2 version.

With which check do you get this error?



Automation error are "often" related to security issues.

The problem was solved. It had nothing to do with DCOM or WMI. We had a domain policy wich was not correctly configured. If you add a W2K3 server to a W2K domain the server add's the following rule in the local policies (in our case the domain policy): "Impersonate a client after authentication". After you add SERVICE, all works fine.
