Time between 1st DOWN & status change

We have ServersCheck 5.5.4 Professional, with about 30 URLEXISTS check rules set up.



My rules all have the following settings:

• # Retries before rule fails? [2]
• Minimal interval between 2 checks [900]
• Interval when status is down [300]

I would assume this means each rule would be run once every fifteen minutes (i.e. 900 seconds), except when the rule is "DOWN". When a rule is "DOWN", I think these settings would cause the rule to be checked two more times, five minutes apart before changing the status to "DOWN".



According to my understanding of the rules, the status would not change, until the rule had failed 3 times consecutively. So if I understand this correctly, the status should change to "DOWN" 10 minutes after the first time the URLCHECK rule fails.



Is my understanding of the rules and status changes correct?
